Hi Everybody!

I'm Mike from Acworth, GA, just north of ATL.

There's a lot of great photography here!

I found this forum via an article Terri wrote on hand-coloring. I'm shooting IR digitally and I want to get back to hand-coloring, something I did for fun way back in my college days. I'm hoping to get some advice and feedback as I progress. Which sub-forum would be best to use for questions on these topics?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hello Mike, and welcome! Glad you found us. I look forward to seeing some of your work.

Regarding advice and feedback, you can either request it underneath any photo you post (or in a separate thread, if there's no actual photo you're asking about). Or you can ask for a critique from moderator Hertz van Rental in the Critique Forum. There's a sticky at the top of that forum that sets out the 'rules' for a critique request.

Welcome to The Beat, Mike! We're happy to have you on board.

For questions about hand-coloring, or any similar more analog process, please post in the Alternative Photography Techniques section.

Most of our Galleries are pretty topic-specific, so feel free to post your work as it fits the category. We all give general C&C in the Galleries, so for anything more in-depth, I agree with Anty that our Critique moderator, Hertz, is the best bet.

Don't be shy - start posting, and have fun!
