This image is 50 years old....?
Well...I love it. Love the whole blue theme, your masterful use of the rule of thirds here, the suggestion of shoreline, the movement of the water....
Yummy. :D

Invisible, I like much about your photo (and about Miles) but my eye keeps asking for something to focus on. I keep looking all over and not finding any place for the eye to rest.

I know what you mean. Like I posted on TPF, this is a lake that I love to stare at when I feel like recharging batteries. The intention of this photo was to capture the soothing feeling. There is really nothing to focus your sight on there, so I tried to frame the scene in a way it'd look abstract... but it's not abstract enough, I guess :)
That being said, I like looking at this photo myself –although it doesn't replace the "service" that this lakes provides me. I think it'd work better with one of those white frames that Chris of Arabia uses.
Thanks Terri and Fox Paw.

My eye is drawn to that line of white on the horizon.
The whole image is very zen-like.

Thanks, John. That was the idea of the photo. It speaks to some, while others just see plain ole water.

^^^ being on two forums with some of the same people is really messing with my brain. We gotta get more folks on here so I can stop looking at TPF. Either that or I need to find some other way to burn up some free time.
