very colourful .... and different from the cliché like silo shot which is often in landscape format with some fields and rolling hills. This one appears more dense and less open. A nice variation of the theme.

Terri - I completely forget what crop was in the field. It's not yellow enough to be canola, so I'm not sure what it was.

Karissa, I'm 99% sure I would have taken it with my Canon Digital Rebel XT

That really brightens up a dull day! The depth of focus is great allowing us to enjoy the detail and colour right through the image. I am not sure though if it was the somewhat phallic shape that attracted you or the contrast between the cloud and colour of nature at work!

As I recall, it was the dark clouds, the colour of the crops in the field, and the presence of the fence that attracted me (I like fences).

As for what my subconscious may have been noticing, who knows? :p
