I love this place. After many months of NO photography, I recently picked up my precious old Mamiya 1000 S, only to find I couldn’t get the back off – gummed over. It needed a good Clean/Lube/Adjustment anyway, so I called KEH.

I didn’t know this, but – they’ve moved! After a couple decades in the same old building, they are now in a new space about 15 minutes from my house. I took the camera in and picked it up yesterday afternoon. It’s immaculate! Rolleimaniac also took in a 6x9 film back and that was CLA’d, too, with new foam light seals added.

While I was waiting at the counter, I noticed a sign saying: “KEH is growing!” and it went on to say if you happened to have any experience in photography, they’d love to talk to you about a possible hire.
Why do I have to be moving out of state?!? :gah: I’ve been so sick and tired of healthcare management I felt my brain was shrinking, and only just recently quit due to the pending move. How I’d have loved the opportunity to grovel at KEH for the chance to work there. They are a first-rate outfit.

I’ll have to file this under "Another opportunity lost…." *sniffle* :(

Anyway. Whoever might need a camera repaired would do well to contact them, not to mention they are a great resource for purchasing camera bodies, lenses, bags, etc. Great outfit.
