...is happening tomorrow! I'm going with my woman, she'll be riding her Sportster and I'll be riding a Street Glide (rental for the day). It will hopefully be a little more manageable than the Road King I had in March. We're doing the Florence Prison run in tandem. Should be fun day...
Keep your fingers crossed for her, it's her first long solo trip. ;)

We're baaaaack! She not only did great on the Sportster but she wanted to do another couple hundred miles after we did three hundred already! I have created a monster!!! She was very comfortable on the freeway, I was worrying more than her.
We went to Florence, then to Tucson, back to Florence for a good Mexican food lunch and back home. It was 102 degrees, a tad on the hot side but manageable.
My rental is the kind of bike I was hoping for. The Street Glide feels much better than the Road King, slow or high speeds. I am going to be on the look for a SG soon.

That's a great ride! I hope you had a fun time.

I'm so glad everything went well! That's quite a ride you went on. Perfect weather for it too!

Thanks C, we enjoyed it. Had the perfect bowl of Menudo in Florence as well, near the State Prison, which made it even more enjoyable (I am nuts for good Menudo).

It was, Terri! It really was. I didn't take any cameras with me, unfortunately.
