Hi
help me please... time has come for my canon 350d to retire and I am thinking about a change...
on the one hand Canon 600d seems to be a good choice for me, but on the other...
Sony A65 fascinates me...it will be soon released and the technological advancement according signal processing and the variety of gatgets is really amazing... So, I am really thinking about selling all my canon staff and switching to Sony but I need some opinions from those who have switched
and also from those who use Sony...

I am not much help since I've not used either Canon or Sony. If you have no monetary concerns about starting over completely with a new system (including new lenses, since I am assuming the lenses you currently have for your 350d would also work on a 600d), then why not make the switch?

There may not be enough differences between the 2 Canons to make it a real advancement for you, and you sound very intrigued with what the Sony is offering.

Will you have an opportunity to pick up and play with the Sony? That's always critical for me, just to get the feel of how the camera body handles.

Good luck! :)

It seems to me that Sony cameras have great specs/numbers...but they don't really deliver in the end, like Canon & Nikon do.

Unless there is something that absolutely need, that you can't get with a Canon, I wouldn't suggest switching.

Remember, it's the photographer, not the camera, who makes the photos.
