I'm excited. I'll be showing 16-24 pieces of work that I took as far back as 2003, and all favorites of mine. That's different because in my first solo I was restricted to a location. These will be from all over the desert and mountains.

^^ Yes, I think it looks pretty darn good right here, too! ;)
I think it's terrific that you get the freedom to select your favorite work from as far back as '03. What a great compliment!
My main issue is that you're there, and I'm here, and can't just stroll in to enjoy the show. :irked:

Some of it will be just things I've already had printed and framed- of which most are my favorites, and from so many different areas of the desert and mountains. I'll be putting together some more in the coming months since there's so much time between now and then. I made the application thinking I'd could be ready in a couple months if I had to. My first solo was a specific area (Zzyzx (http://digital-desert.com/zzyzx/) <- Not the show photos), and I didn't do as well as I possibly could have. I could have photographed more in the Mojave National Preserve for it, but only had a couple months to get ready so I went with what I had.
I'm hoping this looks nice on canvas also. I don't care for the gallery-wrap

This one, 'Sunset & Candy' was from probably 2007-8 in Joshua Tree National Park.

Sunset & Candy - I love that title! :)
Joshua Tree remains one of the places I've yet to see. It always looks amazing, any time of year I've seen it photographed.
Beautiful job!
