That looks almost like it was taken just past weeping rock at Zion National Park. Did you head to my backyard and not tell me?

Are you in Utah, Aggie?

No, this was taken in northern Arizona. Same basic geology.

This one really holds my attention...so many lines/striations, and shadings of colour, in that beautiful red rock. And of course that tough little tree managing to grow in such an inhospitable spot. Good stuff!

I have this nice view of Zion National Park out my back yard. I'm between St. George and Zion. My location blurb under my name says between heaven and hell. A mile to the west of me is Purgatory flats, where the local jail is. It is famous for housing Warren Jeffs during his first trial here in Utah. To the east of me is Zion. So i literally live between heaven and hell. Also DMV is in Purgatory flats as well. They at least got that one right as well.

Watch out I may be moving to Phoenix area.

What a beautiful image. The colour of the rocks and the touch of greenery is nice.
