Thanks guys!! I spent less than 1/2 an hour shooting a bunch of the horse pics....and those 2 were like peas in a pod!! They obviously have a special connection!!

I love the first one....the composition anyway, I'm not so sure about the lighting...but I'm also not sure how to get it just right??

I think the lighting worked out well for you. The over cast sky did its 'softbox' thing with the sunlight, reducing the harshness.
