I know this one has some warts, but I kind of like it anyway.

I like it too! Is that the coffee/art studio in the west valley? I can't remember the name, but it looks familiar.

Thanks, everyone. This is a little place on Central, MissMia, near Roosevelt.

Where ARE the "warts"?
Can't really find them.
I love the play of light and shadow. It overcomes ANY kind of "wart" there might be!
It is a very atmospheric photo.

Thanks very much, LaFoto. Yeah, the light and shadows are what's good about it. The outside is blown out because of the high dynamic range. There's noise in the shadows because of the high ISO I had to use and the need to boost the shadows some with a curves layer. I can't think of how I'd get around those problems if I had it to do over again, though, and they don't really bother me.

This shot pushed right against the limits of my Paint Shop Pro software. It won't perform mask layers, cloning, burning, dodging or other functions without demoting the image to 8 bits. This one disintegrated if converted to 8 bits.
