Very nice! It looks as if chunks of cloud were hanging from the sky. The colours are beautiful and the saturation is just right.

depends on if that storm was headed at me. If it was I would be seeking a root cellar for cover. That is one nastyl looking sky. It just needs a tinge of green to make that storm complete. Those that have or do live in tornado alley know what I mean.

yep, looks scary to me but to a storm chaser, it looks like fun!

I remember this photo, but don't remember what exactly it looked like in its earlier version. But whatever, this version is all impressive, too. As the weather situation as such is so impressive. Whoa! We never get clouds like that here, but maybe (when listening to Aggie) I should be GLAD!

Yep, I've seen that color lots of times. That color actually excites me cause it gives me another indication that the storm is a nasty one.

Thanks! I really enjoyed this storm!

Hmmm... I'll have to look closer.

Thanks LaFoto! This was not a scary storm actually. Most scary storms are the ones that are localized and not spread out over a larger area like this guy was.

Nice to see your work again!

For those who might be interested in the mammatus cloud formation that boblybill captured so eloquently...

Mammatus clouds had always given me the 'willies' but I later learned that they aren't the harbinger of armageddon, but here in the US, generally come at the end of the drama.

Your weather shots are always impressive, though this one has to take the lead as being one of the impressive and far more rare sights that you have captured! Great work!
