MEMBER'S CHOICE PHOTO CONTEST: May 1-15 '09 Nomination and Voting Thread

This is the nomination thread for the biweekly photo contest, for pictures posted on the forum from May 1st to May 15th, 2009 inclusive. Members may nominate up to three photographs posted by others during this time period. You can’t nominate your own images. If a photograph has already been nominated, please don’t nominate it again as it will already be on the list. And if you nominate a shot posted outside of the applicable time period, it will be removed.

To nominate a photo, please add it to this thread, and include
-the thread title from where the image was originally posted;
-the name of the photograph (if there was one posted); and
-the name of the photographer

On May 16th a voting poll will be added to this thread, so that you can see the nominated images in the same thread as you will be voting. Voting will remain open for 4 days after the poll is posted. This voting procedure may change, depending on the number of nominations, but we'll keep you advised about how the voting will be conducted.

In case there are some last minute entries (of photos originally posted between May 1 and 15), how about we keep the nomination thread open for another day or so? Any objections? Miss Mia can name the closing day/time as she's running this contest, and then we'll know the deadline.
