As I predicted, this year's World Wide Pinhole Day found me with no time to go shoot anything new. :(

But - I did get into the darkroom over the weekend and made a couple of prints from last year's pinhole experiments.

These were shot in a Savannah, GA cemetery using my pinhole lenscap on my Pentax 6x7. Totally guessing on exposure, the negatives turned out fairly decent!

I really love using those 6x7 negatives. I need to shoot that camera some more!

Here, I used Ilford warmtone paper at grade 3.5 contrast to give them some punch. :sexywink:

Thanks for looking!

Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, these were taken at the famous Bonaventure Cemetery, where Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil was filmed, and all sorts of creepy ghosty things are reportedly going on.

Very cool effect and very good shots. Those are sharper than many pinhole images I've seen.

You mention the paper you used--do you print them, scan the prints and post the result?

Thanks! I was also gratified by how sharp these seemed. I'm guessing due to the larger format...? I'm no pinhole expert.

Yes, I generally use 8x10 size silver gelatin paper to make enlargements. That size fits easily on my flatbed scanner. I scan the prints and use Photoshop to get them as close to the print as I can. I'm not much of a scanner.
