Every year in spring I swear to myself "After these you will take NO MORE photos of the cherry blossoms, the apple blossoms and the quinche blossoms". And when the quinche tree starts to bloom ... I can't help myself:

Photographed against the light - the version I like best.

I find these flowers particularly delicate with their hint of pink in those "veins". Such a pity that tonight's heavy rain has flattened a good many of them :( --- these photos here are from my yesterday morning's "session".

Your images of the blooms really captures how delicate looking they are. All 3 are lovely, but the last is my favourite as well...the light along the edge of the leaves and petals adds a nice touch, as does the silhouette of one leaf through the other

They are all so beautiful.

I love the delicateness of the first one.

And yes you will take more photos next year of blossoms.

Yup..... I think it's the back lighting that does it for me. Really accentuates the "hairs" of the leaves.... plus the back lighting.
