I awoke before 6:00AM this morning (without the hangover, thank you very much... :)). I have some gardening to do this morning before the temps reach above 90°F again today.

Fairly boring, I know, but sometimes my funnybone takes a hit.

Heehee, you're funny.

(Lovely shot of the hanging branch...what kind of tree/flowers are they?)

I rather like it. Such a nice example of the everyday "prettiness" around us. I'm glad you took the time to capture it. :)

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Very much appreciated. The shot was what it was..... nothing more or less. The boots were left out overnight from the previous day's work.

Well, my mother calls it a "Mock Orange". Haven't found a sound determination for it yet, but this particular shrub was grafted from a plant the her mother (my grandmother) kept in front of her kitchen window. The mother plant is said to be around seventy five years old..... I can't say one way or the other.

Thank you Wikipedia.... :)

Previously I stated it was grafted, but I think it more likely to have been rooted from a cutting.

Im diggin this one. Right on. Nice contrast between the flowers and the boots neglecting the yard work. Nice one man.
