I remember a thread on TPF about cliches. Some people indicated they were very tired of flower shots. Not me. If I ever get that way, bury me promptly.
This was taken a couple of days ago in our backyard. The backyard offers various things to see throughout the year but this was what it was offering a couple of days ago. It's not a great or memorable photo. The iris was beautiful, though. It deserves a photograph. The photograph is not art. It communicates nothing other than what this iris was a couple of days ago. That's enough. After a few of you look (thank you), it can fade into cyber-oblivion.
