I was out wandering and drove into a little community I had visted maybe 10-12 years ago. The community was even smaller than I had remembered having only a church as the centerpiece. I shot a few pictures and after a bit, the minister came out and struggled to close the doors. I shot a few more shots and waved as he walked down the road to the mailbox. I crossed the street and we talked some, about the history of the church and changes to the architecture over the years. I asked if I could see the inside? "Certainly, it is a church", he replied. We both forgot what a problem it was with the door. He excused himself and went in the back way to open the door. I clicked a shot and could hear him fighting to open the door--So I waited. ... Here's what I got when he finally got the door opened.

He was most apologetic for being in the shot. I laughed and said that's what I wanted, and I hope he didn't mind. I ended up staying maybe 45 minutes, talking with this gentleman and learning more about the building and the area.
