Now we dont have as many interesting and weird bugs here in Ireland, ....
From your Sigma review.......
So I'm guessing this is a shot of a bar fly. :o:
Agreed that you're off to a good start. I have very shakey hands, so it's an uphill battle to do macro for me.
This shot was taken within 10 minutes of it out of the box... he he, just went to the garden to see if I can find a bug of sorts... I thought, fly, that will do...

With just the lens? No teleconverters or anything?
No no, in Aperture. Wait! If I say with just the lens, does that make me even more awesome? LOL - Couldn't help it!

And you probably dont know this yet, but you are now addicted to the macro world and everywhere you go, you will look for bugs.
he he, and to think, I usually hate anything with more then 4 legs! At least Daan, I have your shots as inspiration and of course the fabulous Christina's......

Very well done sir....looking forward to more. :-)
At first I thought it was Bono with fly sunglasses, then I thought, wait, what the hell would be doing in my back garden, and why is he trespassing????
