Ann, Sorry you are having trouble. I have never had a problem with this feature. Can we start by having you clear your internet cache?

sorry, don't know what that means. :hmm:

sorry, don't know what that means. :hmm:heh, no worries. When you're on the internet, along the top will be a tool bar with names like File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, and Help, across the top. Click on Tools, and there will be a selection called Internet Options in there someplace. Click on Internet Options, and a new window will open up. Different browsers will be designed differently, but they all have to give you the same options, so in this window look for the area where you can Delete History, cookies, temporary internet files, etc. It's these kinds of things that collect in the background while you surf the net, and they can sometimes get in the way and cause quirky things to go wrong at various sites or forums. Just delete them all, nothing bad will happen, and when you refresh your screen (or close the internet and then reopen) you might have fixed this sign-in problem.

If not, we'll have to look further, but it's the best place to start. :)

will that erase all my other sign in options?

will that erase all my other sign in options? You mean, does this action erase all saved logins at other places? I'm afraid it does, you'll have to log in anew at each one. It's still not a bad idea to routinely perform this action just to keep the pipe clean, so to speak.

I have the same problem if I'm going straight to thephotobeat.com, but if I access the site by thephotobeat.com/forum/index.php I'm good :)
Maybe that would make a difference for you too?

That's odd alex, i've used FF for a long time now...

Ann, I did make one change but I doubt it is the reason things changed for you. Possible though.
