The Member’s Choice Photo Contest is a bi-monthly contest, covering the periods of the 1st to 15th of the month, and the 16th to the end of the month. A nominating thread will be open for members to nominate photos posted here at The Beat during one of those time periods. Needless to say, the nominated images must have been taken by a member. Each member may nominate up to three photographs, but cannot nominate their own. If a photograph has already been nominated, please don’t nominate it again as it will already be on the list. And if you nominate a shot posted outside of the applicable time period, it will be removed.
To nominate a photo, please add it to the nomination thread, and include
-the thread title from where the image was originally posted;
-the name of the photograph (if there was one posted); and
-the name of the photographer
At the end of the nominating period, a voting poll will be added to the nomination thread, so that you can see the nominated images in the same thread as you will be voting. Voting will remain open for a period of 4 days after the poll is posted, and you will have one vote. In the event of a tie, one of the forum moderators/administrators (or possibly a secretly chosen member who does not have an image involved in the tie) will choose the winner.
