Well I think you’re very close on this one. Why did you cut the child in haft? Did you try a faux pano crop? I like pano crops. I do like the composition and extreme color contrast.

Thanks for your comments. I could flat-out lie to you here and tell you that I cut the child in half to get an abstracty look, but that's not what happened. I had already composed and was ready to fire when the kid entered the frame. Since I don't know the kid or her parents, I'm kinda glad that her head was cut off. I might try the faux pano crop later –it did cross my mind but I was too lazy to do it (I was in the middle of a post-processing marathon already :)).

Federico, you know I've never liked you, and if you keep shooting like this, I'll have to... I'll have to... go on thinking I'll never be any good.
I think your crop, showing the circles of the bike's wheels, without showing the rider completely is perfect for this.
Have I mentioned that I've never liked you?

I love this shot, and one of the things that really makes it for me is the 'hint' of humanity (the 'half-bike/child'). ;) I would cut off part of the bottom of the picture though. It would really focus things up.
Nice! :)

I shot this one with the sole goal of spiting you and making you feel miserable. I'm glad the mission has been a success. Lovin' the hatin'!
(Seriously, thanks for the "kind" words!)

Thanks very much, PhotoJet! The bottom-chopping (as suggested also by Jeff above) is still in the plans.
