Somebody pinch me, I must be dreaming! What a great way to start the day....logging onto The Beat and seeing four posts of penguin pics, and a gorgeous view of a glacier. Wow! :boogie:

This one is so sweet. Although I saw some rockhoppers on my travels, I don't believe they had chicks. The way they are positioned in the shot really give one a feel for how protective the parents are of the chicks. Nicely done.

Aren't the rockhoppers funny to watch, as they hop along like some windup toy that was overwound? And those yellow feathers make them look like the fashionistas of the penguin world. I'm soooOOoooo glad you found these pics and shared them!

Should we leave these picture here, in OT? We could pop them into the General Gallery if it's okay with Ann. I appreciate they are quick snaps but I think they deserve a Gallery home.
