New addition alert! An old friend from Venezuela just sent me his old Voigtlander Bergheil, 9x12 plate camera, in excellent shape and with three 9x12 cassettes. Can hardly wait for it to get here...

Of course!!! I went through a 12 step recovery thing, didn't help! :lol:

Well, this friend from Venezuela I have known since 30+ years ago and he had this camera given to him by his dad, who was of German ancestry. He's into the photo restoration business now and uses digital equipment only. Lucky me...

^^ It's your good fortune that he went that way, so at least you're not competing for these gems!

I'm excited for you - it sounds like it's going to be completely usable. Do you think you'll try to coat the plates and make images?

This is something I'd like to explore, it just sounds like so much fun. I've not worked with liquid emulsions at all. Coating looks like a blast.
