Beautiful colours, and what a stunning view. A place I could sit for hours. Very well captured.

Thanks, Chiller, it is a beautiful place and you would not regret any hours spent there.

Beautiful. Is it HDR?

Yes. I like to think that my HDRs aren't recognizable as such, but I guess they are. :)

Beautiful image of a beautiful spot. IMO, the fact it's an HDR is not easily discernible.

Thanks, Antarctican. I've spent a lot of time figuring out how to get the most realistic-looking results from Photomatix. I'm getting closer.

What a beautiful and quiet spot. I could use a little down time there!

I agree: the fact that this is HDR is NOT immediately visible. Good job on the tonemapping: no halo nowhere to be seen. Absolutely no where. Good-good. A polariser might have done this effect to a single exposure, too??? I wonder... genuinely so.

I dont think you can do a shot like this only with a polariser. You would probably miss the color in the foreground trees or the sky would be way lighter then it is now.
Anyways, great shot and processing technique

MissMia, LaFoto, doenoe, thanks for the comments. I used a polarizer on this one. The look of the baseline shot is similar to this, but one shot can't handle the dynamic range nearly as well.
