The evening of August 12 through morning of August 13. No photos for me, but I'm heading out to watch about 1 am.

I read about this. The paper said the show will mostly occur between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM. I'd probably have to drive for an hour to find a place dark enough to really see it. Ain't gonna happen, alas.

I saw several last night from the backyard. I might try to get out by the lake in the morning.

We happened to be out on our friends' boat a couple of summers ago, a day or two before the actual "event". Out in the middle of a big lake is a wonderful way to watch the show!

We weren't aware of the impending comet until the next day; we only knew there was a significant amount of shooting stars that night. Wish I could be on that boat again tomorrow! It was beautiful out there. :love:

It is bloody raining here. Or cloudy. I do hope to see some of the shower by the weekend.

so thats what I saw when I was having my beer last night outside the bar. I saw 2 of them falling down, great sight :)
