Nice. I of course see tons of the Canada Geese here (where they are usually perceived as a nuisance. Although they look great when a flock of them fly in formation). But I don't recall seeing a Great Crested Grebe...they have such lovely colouring, and that interesting point of feathers on its head. I'm glad the branch didn't obscure its beak/face in this shot.

The Grebe is not seen a lot here in the South of England either.

Nor is the Grebe seen in my neck of the woods down yonder in SoCal.
