Shot almost the same photo without the flare, but personally I like it more with the flare... :)
almost straight out of the camera, except levels / color / sharpness adjustments

I know it's considered a fault, but more often than not I dig lens flare, especially when it's clearly been captured for mood enhancement, such as here. This is well exposed, too - just enough shadow detail of the front of the couple to keep them the center of attention in the shot.
Fun stuff - and I bet they love this image, too.

It's a lovely image all-round. That tree is very photogenic, with the long gnarly branch extending out like a canopy over the couple. And I, personally, like that there's a path/road in the shot, symbolizing that they are embarking on a life journey together

As they should it's really lovely! I agree with Terri, I tend to find myself liking lens flare more often than not... :)
