Well, I know I have my 'roots' in the 'traditional' photo world, but I have to say that this is just a little too obviously PS'd to me. ;)
(Updaft?????) :)

you should have got out earlier/later and taken it with the evening/morning light - as it is the colours are far too bold and you have lost so much detail in that cloud to overexposure!
If you shot RAW you might have a chance to get some back -- you do shoot in RAW don't you?

;)

Curses!!!! I totally spelled "updraft" wrong....

Overread, what do you mean RAW? RAW is a thing of the past. This was shot in MDAE (Most Data Availible Ever) format and proccess in a 48bit color space. My camera has not only red, green, and blue sensors but also cyan, magenta, yellow, black, and white, plus it has a lightness, alpha, and beta channels. Shot this in RAW he says, HA!

There seems to be quite a bit of pixelation at the edges of the clouds, but that may be due to upload compression.

I'm sorry but this is not acceptable .. the clud on the right is out of focus

Let be more careful ... LMAO

Doesn't cloud pixelation occur frequently at higher elevations?

The sky looks great, but the grass is a little too green - IMHO.

That's cause it's on the other side of the street.

For AWESOME pictures, duh!

48bit color doesn't compress well :(.

This storm was so big that even though I was at f/150 I couldn't get everything into focus.

Doesn't cloud pixelation occur frequently at higher elevations?

LOL!!!!

This is true. but this pixelation was due to trying to compress a 48bit color image.

The sky looks great, but the grass is a little too green - IMHO.

That's due to your inferior monitor. :P
