At my macosxhints forum we have a thread for posting our favourite desktop images. It'd been awhile since I changed mine, so whipped up this composite. It turned out that I rather liked it.

I don't want this thread to be exclusive, so if anyone wants to share a desktop they like, please jump in. If that's okay with the moderators.
