Yep, my very first 'L' lens, it's a 100/2.8 USM IS L Macro for the 5D.

Not cheap but I've always desired it. Can hardly wait for it.

Lens arrived 20 minutes ago! Took my very first shot, handheld. This is a 'quickie' photo, a snap shot if you may, of a Golden Barrel cactus flower. Cropped the heck out of it so it shows the sharper area. What a sweet thang!...
