Looks like your focus is just slightly beyond where you want it. I see the eye in focus.
Is it a gnat? Gnat? Bug? Gnat? Bug?

I had to look that one up Aggie, but I found the spelling to be depilatory (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=depilatory).

Well, that was supposed to be the butt of the joke. Down here, when something is r-e-a-l close butt not quite there, way say that it's a gnat's ass off. :lol:

Wow!!!! That shot with the finger really shows how tiny the flower and fly are!
I like the irridescence on the wings in shot 2. But agree with Aggie that a little "Nair" would go a long way. Unless it's a hippie fly.

I've never tried Nair myself due to the sensitive nature, but I can see where y'all are coming from.
