Drip drop, plop in the stop, my print once dmax shows
Then three minutes in the fix, everyone surely knows.
A wash, a hang up over head, some time in which to dry
a trim, a frame up, matted bed, then on the wall hung high.
Maybe colored with the oils, rememb'ring how it looked
or rested on the mantle piece, dispensing with the hook.
All the fruit of many hours since the shutter clicked
Time spent shaping light and magic--time which was well spent.
