Even the lowly creosote bush is pretty in spring. Critiques are always welcome.

Gorgeous light in this one, Fox Paw! I love when the Palo Verde trees are in bloom too.

Gorgeous light, indeed! And the way the whole image seems to "swoosh" from the dark branches in the front. I love the motion that creates.

Thanks, Chiller. I took this about three minutes before my tripod head broke, ending the morning's festivities.

Got it fixed during my lunch hour. The owner of the photo store said they'd been seelling that brand of tripod for a decade and he'd never seen it fail like that. I felt special....

I keep coming back to this one, and there is one thing that stop me from commenting.
First I thought it was the curving bushes in the middle, but now I think they compliment the bushes and their colour either side. Then I thought maybe it was the colour of the rock in the background, now I see it's the sunlight.
Now I realise what it is. It's great, but my only "thing" is the sky is very blue and no clouds. Maybe you could ask mother nature to move a few in to break it up a little. LOL. Seriously I do like this one and you are lucky to live somewhere that you can get shots like this. :)
Thanks for sharing.

Appreciate the comments, Lensmeister. We do get a lot of boring, clear-blue skies.
