Using some of my advanced interrogation (sp?) techniques, I was able to get Anty to tell me where you had gone off to... You cannot run.

Ahhhh true...
Well I started getting into photography back in August 2006 because I was intrested in storm chasing. I bought my sisters film camera and started taking pictures. In October, I was looking for online photography classes (if I remember correctly) and discovered a forum that I started posting to get advice. That's where I met a lot of the people that post here actually. In fact, lostprophet was the first to post a comment on my pictures. I have befriended (though I have never met any of them in real life) a lot of them here.
These days I shoot storms mostly. I love landscapes. In the winter time, I like to go to the zoo and take pictures of the animals.
By the way, Terri... What is an organic photographer?
You are stalking Alex? I thought I am stalking Alex. :big grin:
How long have you been stalking him? I've been at it for about two years.

Welcome to 'The Beat' BoblyBill! I'm looking forward to seeing more of your storm photos. I'm looking forward to the 'monsoon season' here, so I can capture more lightning shots! That has become my favorite thing to photograph. :big grin:

i always think of traditional work as being organic and digital being mechanical. - Ann Clancy <<---That's our Ann, here on the Beat.
I took that quote from what we were discussing in this thread (http://www.thephotobeat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=314) which contained a guy's digital work that I found fascinating. Great thread, check it out when you have time.
I liked Ann's neat little summary in that statement. I also think it sounds nicer than "film geek", don't you?

OK, you win... I wasn't really stalking him anyways since I'm a dude and not really into dudes, so by all means, keep on stalking.
Welcome, boblybill.

Film geek is cool to. So what if you are geek? I don't think is anything wrong with that.

Alex_B... I'm assuming Alex = Alex_B
I'll be sure to post some more storm photos, but I'm not sure that fantastic would be the words to discribe them.
,welcome billybob ... I am just your excuse to come to this strange place, right? ;)
Well, sorry but no... though I have been needing a Alex_B panoramic shot fix, can you hook a brother up?

I'm not sure chomping the bit a good passtime while you are awaiting some storm photos from me. It might be a bit of a let down.
Welcome BB!
