Caught the scent of a new forum. Followed the beat of the images.
and the beat goes on...
Edit:
So after going to a bunch of everyone's into threads and getting reacquainted with some and newly acquainted with others, I kept seeing Jeanette asking for more info.
So, a quickie bio...
I started out as a child... no wait, that was Bill Cosby.
High School, Farmingdale, NY, USA, in '69. Seems like 1869, but it was just last century.
Bummed around aimlessly for some time. Ended up in Buffalo, NY, USA and graduated in '78 with my physical therapy degree.
Ended up in Albuquerque doing internships and have been here since.
Married in '81 (got her very drunk and proposed so she wouldn't have her wits about her).
Older son Mike going to be 21 this summer. You'll see him in various posts, usually in, around, on motorcycles.
Younger son Tom finishing his junior year of high school. You'll see him in images of what we here in the USA call soccer, but as we all know, is really football.
My interests are movement, anatomy, photography, martial arts (Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu) and I've a 30 day free trial of Painter 11. I've got 20 days left and I'm playing like mad with it. It's way more complicated the PsCS4!
So that's my story and I'm stickin' to it. :big grin:

Feels like a family reunion.
Except that here there are nice people. ;-)
I'm looking forward to being here among the most enthusiastic photographers on the planet.
I'm ready to get "crackin'." :whip:

Jeanette, I'm so sorry about the song! I wish it were a better one! But since registering here, it's been pounding out the rhythm in my brain.
I'd offer to strangle Sonny Bono for having written it, but I'm too late!
And as for who I am, I'm a fellow refugee from another forum, who's delighted to find so many familiar faces. (faces? er, avatars? er, usernames?) Oh well, you know what I mean.
And yep, that's a coyote. He and his mate were out in the park across the street when I'd gone out to shoot photos of the broken Sentra window. Someone drove past during the night and chucked a boulder through it. Threw it through it. Via the back window. This was 14Feb09.

Pole?
I don't think coyotes are Polish. Aren't they native to the americas? :biglaugh:
Here in New Mexico, you'll hear a few variations of pronunciation.
Some Native Americans seem to have absolutely no emphasis on any one syllable when they say it. Comes out very flat. Some hispanics emphasize the middle syllable. And depending upon the region of the gringo, the emphasis could be on any syllable.

This gringo calls them 'yotes'! :big grin: I like to be different.

Hello John, and welcome!
(Nice pic of the coyote!)
Thanks Jeanne. (I still remember you're named for my baby sister)
Although, looking at your avatar, my baby sister could be your mother's age!
(your avatar I saw last night at members' profile that is)

What a good memory you have! (And trust me, it's extremely unlikely your baby sister could be my mother's age! The profile pic is tiny, so it hides all the wrinkles! Ummm, I mean 'laugh lines', yeah, that's it, laugh lines)
BTW, you're from where my mom was born.

Thanks for the intro, John! We have coyotes here too. I've seen two or three within a few miles of where I live. We also have fox and more deer than you can count! hahaha Most people here say "Kai- Oat- Tees" like it's a souvenir from a breakfast cereal.
Dang about the window! :(
