Well I did go out to get some shots of the pond frog - but left my polarizer in my room - which proved to rather be a bit of limit for the sunlite pond and frog (nothing good came out and I had nothing to use to shade the frog with either) - so I took some shots of one of our cats who decided to drop by and rest in the sunlight.

All taken with Canon 400D - Sigma 150mm macro - 1.4 teleconverter -some with flash

A little soft this one but I rather like the overall composition

Overall a rather nice set - probably a bit close for comfort in all the shots (especailly with a prime and me lying on the ground) so I was glad that she was in a sleepy mood and not a "come make a fuss of me" mood.

Any comments/crits welcome - thank you

The first shot of the cat is cool. Hopefully you'll have a better day getting pics of the frogs.

Cute kitty! I too really like the first shot.

(Would the cat try to eat or play with the frogs if they were on land?)

These are really nice! I love the contented look of the second shot! :)

The last shot...,,. I would have backed away very carefully if my cat looked at me like that.
