How beautiful! You must get a real sense of satisfaction each time you see it. It looks wonderful in that setting

[Your garden is lovely! Those roses! And such great colours I see in the background. Meanwhile, it snowed here yesterday. Yes, you read that right...it snowed! Thankfully that's a very rare occurrence this late in the season. So other than some crocuses, not much blooming here at the moment]

Thanks Anty - the fountain is in the Rose Garden ... mmmhhh about 40 different varieties. Between the poppies, nastursums and sweet peas ... the rose garden has changed from a British Garden to a Russian Garden.

What a gorgeous garden! You're really going to enjoy having that fountain. Surprisingly roses grow quite well over here in the desert. Unfortunately, I'm all about cacti and gravel now. ;)

Thanks, I remember running into wild roses in the desert ... they are very hardy and adaptable to different climes and environments.

Cacti is always cool and gravel is easy to grow and hard to kill.

gravel is easy to grow and hard to kill.

Yes, but we have a difficult time keeping the herd of gravel corralled. :big grin:

Great yard Gary. Of your photos, #2 appeals most to me, I think because the softly focused fountain adds atmosphere to the sharply focused roses.

I use a Corgi for my gravel. Thanks for looking and commenting. I am partial to #2 as well.

Nice shots! That's a nice fountain! Someday our roses will bloom! Someday we may even get green leaves on the trees! :goodvibes:

(I'm still snickering about the Corgi)... :biglaugh::biglaugh:

Thanks Photojet ... while you wait for your blooms ... enjoy your housing costs ... (this economy has finally brought SoCal housing into something a bit realistic ... but now nobody can get a loan) ... *sigh* But it is 70F today ... and the Pacific is waiting ...
