I only have very few ... from back when I was in Hamburg on a lovely day, with wonderful colours, and my camera battery went flat and I had forgotten to bring the second one... that was the only time I felt like not giving up on the colours and sights so I used my phone...

recently returned and on one of my journey's i was taking a workshop with Dan Burkholder who showed us some work he is doing with is iphone. Amazing work.

we would go to lunch and dinner and he would sit there and to pass the time take photos and then with download app process them while waiting .

great fun and terrific images. I believe he has some on his website. Many people think of this as the new holga of techie land.

I hate cell phones or i would be tempted.

Back at flickr, there are groups devoted to images shot with mobiles. Generic cellphones, particular cellphones. You name it, there's a group, or more than one, associated with it.

It was only mid year this past year that I realized what a wonderful distorting lens my ancient motorola razr had. Crappy quality, but outstanding images. Then at the end of August the whole family shifted to Verizon and we all got new smart phones. Sometimes the image quality rivals, and even exceeds, my little point and shoot. But what's really a gas are these camera apps that are now available. I especially like the ones that mimic a Holga or a Diana. I'm now at a point where up to 60% of my shots are from my mobile rather than my dSLR, just for the funky lens effects or the effects from the apps.

A Blackberry Curve. The photo function on it works fairly well with landscapes, but it isn't terribly good for indoor shots.

The android based phones, just like the iPhones, have apps that can mimic some of the old leaky light plastic film cameras, such as the Holga or Diana.
