I have completed my Zeiss Super Ikonta collection with the addition of the "C". I had the "A" first, then along came the "B" and now the "C". I feel like I've accomplished something special... ;)

Absolutely! When are you coming by? I will be gone at the end of June until early July for a trip to Rome, Italy. Then I will leave at the end of July for Wyoming, my usual summer stop. Let me know in advance.

Well, the 'bad boy' arrived today! It's a 1934 Super Ikomat (same as Super Ikonta, name changed a few years later), the 530/2 for those of you who care which model it is. It has the Tessar 10.5cm/f4.5 and it arrived with the original leather pouch embossed ZEISS, the original Instruction Book (in English) and, tucked away in the folding bed, the original flex shutter release also marked ZEISS. It even had a Kodak Verichrome in it, shot about half way sometime in 1961. No, I did not open the camera first, I saw the film inside. :D
I took a little time to clean it and now it looks like it left the factory a few months ago. It's just beautiful and handles great, even the shutter (minus the self timer) works great. AFAICT the speeds are almost perfect.
