That light gives it almost a dreamlike quality. And from the appearance of the woman at the centre of the shot, and the headwear on the men to the left, it looks, as Rene said, like it could be a shot from long ago.

This was a renaissance fair held on the grounds of the Mabel Dodge House in Taos, where DH Lawrence and friends used to hang out, right on the edge of Taos Indian Pueblo land.
Approximate date-August, 1977.
