Yeah, but it still has the stink eye on you. :lol:
I have enough trouble sometimes making it up a couple of steps...... this would be a deal breaker.

Cheaper than a home sceurity - armed response - service ... probably better. Looks like a Morning Dove ... nicely done. How close were you? Looks as if she's witing until the last second before flight ... perhaps the bird is with child (eggs)?

Thanks Gary! I was within a 5 feet of her. I'm sure she is sitting on eggs, otherwise she would have bolted right away. The cactus is a safe place, but it is 2 feet from the main gate to the complex, so there is a ton of traffic there. I need to photograph the dove that has made a nest on top of the hanging light fixture in my front entry!

I think that is the chain fruit cholla she's in. It's an odd looking one.
