.... I'm trying. The Redbud tree in the back yard is blooming. There were a couple of bees hitin' it hard, but I'm too embarassed to show the failures. So, I got a wasp instead.

I agree with Ant........wait that aint Anty!!!
f20 has given you a good depth of field in the shot certainly and the details look good and sharp on this - do remember though that diffraction can be a problem with macro and its why you can't always just shoot at your smallest aperture - though its an area that gets very confusing since there are few certain answers - best thing is to mount your camera on a tripod - pick a static test image and then take shots at each aperture setting to find out where diffraction starts to affect your overall shot - f16 is where I often here it starts so start the test at f13 and work from there (ps I have to do this myself at some point too ;))

Well, I agree with Chiller...good shooting Kundalini! The bold colour of the flowers really adds zip to the shot, and the wasp itself is in nicely sharp focus.

indeed, a very nice image. I bet that tree atracts lots of bugs. I would be standing next to that tree all day long, just trying to find new bugs the whole time..........and offcourse take some pics every now and then :)
