it has begun.................bug season muahahaha :biglaugh:
Went out today for the first time this year to shoot some wild bugs. There wasnt alot to see yet, but its a start. Had to get used to the wind again and also to the fact that these bugs are more skittish then the butterflies in the butterfly garden. But it was nice again, cant wait till the rest of the bugs come out :D
Anyways, here are some shots of today:

Yayyy, good to know you'll be out taking shots again!

Nice series. I especially like the beetle thing in the first shot, the composition of shot 4, and the sight of that blue sky and sunshine in the 5th shot. Can't wait to see more.

These are very good, especially the top 2. You can see every tiny filament on both bug and leaf!

Very nice, and the rich color is very pleasing. Looking forward to a long season of these images! :D

Daan, is that you in the profile pic? You look a lot like Adam Sandler in it, I wonder how many people go up to Adam Sandler and go hey; you know you look a lot like Daan Schouwe!!!

I use a Sigma 105 2.8 macro and use a Speedlite 430EX with a Lumiquest softbox on it for the light.
