What a peaceful, lovely scene! Love that bright red roofline, right in the middle. Classic! There's something about that woodsy background that makes it almost look like a pastel painting - soft and pretty.

A beautiful scene, beautifully captured. I agree with Terri that the splash of colour provided by the red roof adds some zip, and I find my eye is drawn to that curving path beneath the trees. It's also neat how the bottom half of the shot has horizontal lines from the still and ruffled parts of the water (and shoreline), then the top part has all those vertical lines from the trees. Lovely!
