I have received messages from both these people(who are not listed in the member list). Can someone spot check who and what people are posting? Seems the two names listed below just joined the forum the day I got the messages. Beware all...its a trap!!

Yeah, I got one also. It had the names of a few people who I "see" on the forum also. Just reported it to one of the Admin's.

I think its time to impose a time/post limit for pm activation. That's 3 (or more) of this kind of spam attack in recent times so I think the imposing of limits is needed sadly so help avoid further attacks in the future

I'll move the thread out of this particular forum in a moment, but just to let you know that these spam accounts are dealt with as soon as we reasonably can, we don't though have quite the resources or professional backing to respond in the same way as some larger forums we could mention. That said, I am on the look out to see how we can improve matters with what we have already built into vBulletin and also what can be acquired at low or preferably no cost.

For your part, keep reporting anything you think is amiss and don't go clicking on any links if you are not sure of the source. I am hopeful you already know who the real moderators are around here.
