I did a little trip to the Museum of Life and Science in Durham today. They have a very good habitat setup for Black Bears, Red Wolves and Lemurs. The bears were so far off, I couldn't get a decent shot. But here are a few of the female Red Wolf. The male was pacing back-and-forth way at the back of the confine. The female, however, was satisfied to lay fairly close to the viewing area for a little while.

Niiiiiice! The second is my fave...the wolf is unobstructed, it's nice and sharp against the background, the colours seem nice and rich, and it looks a little more 'wild' than in the third shot (which is a close second (haha))

I love this last one. What a peaceful contented look on her face. Nice!

*level of jealousy rising rising!*
3rd shot for me! Great pose.
You also got some great fur details in the second shot

Highlights look a bit blown possibly so a bright day - I keep meaning (when the UK actually gets a bright day at this time of year!) to give a polarizer a try to keep the exposure from blowing on the whites - from experiments in cloud it does work I think - though then I was suffering slow shutter speeds of course so had other problems.
