would it be possible to change the name on the email for this forum as it doesn't fit one my 24" monitor
"ThePhotoBeat - Photography forum dedicated to photo critique, discussion, and help on darkroom technique, analog and digital formats. Also includes equipment reviews for cameras, lenses, and more."
Is a bit on the long side
Thunderbird will not let me scroll to view the email and even if the window is full size, 1920x1200 I can't see it all

What!?! And lose our metatag words? :whip:
 At some point in the future, maybe we'll shorten that up. For now, it's all about helping us get on the google search radar by use of these key words.
Keep recommending us to all your friends and maybe that time will come sooner than later.
If Karissa says we can, that is.

Thanks lostprophet from bringing up this taboo issue!
I'd also be a happy camper if the first paragraph of the notification message was chopped:
someone has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - Chiller and Anty have a Mini Meet-up - in the Member Organized Functions forum of ThePhotoBeat - Photography forum dedicated to photo critique, discussion, and help on darkroom technique, analog and digital formats. Also includes equipment reviews for cameras, lenses, and more..Compare the above to its equivalent on The Other Side:
Someone has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - Viewing platform. - in the Landscape & Cityscape forum of The Photo Forum - Photography Discussion Forum.
All that extra text (the long-winded name and the paragraph) makes it a pain to download messages when I'm on my cellphone.
Just my 2 cents.

How do you get e-mail notifications? Is there a secret password or a..........
"click" <----------- that was the sound of the light being switched on. :)
*hangs head, shuffles feet and audibly sighs....................* *dang, just wet myself again*

Nothing here is taboo! All you have to do is give a yell. Now that we know it's a bit of an issue for the email notifications, especially for those of you who do check in via cell or Blackberry, that may be some incentive to shorten it.
Thanks for speaking up! We aim to please.

Yeah you guys.. speak up. I'm on the same page as you.. drives me crazy but you can tell if I"m putting up with it I have a reason. Ideally, what I would do is find that code and just hard code it so that I and you may have the best of both worlds. I don't have the time right now though, I'm sorry. Can we go for a compromise for now and I'll at least make it shorter?

It's much improved, thanks! Just remember to remove the extra fat from that template once TPB is tops on Google ;)
