I've just put a message about the very same thing in this very forum. I got the same message too. I can't actually find that account in the database any longer, so I'm wondering what sort of piece of fancy trickery has been pulled. I'll investigate a little further, but I'm hoping this is a one-off.

Ok, ok....no real mystery here; I deleted his account, which is why Chris can't find anything more on the guy.

A very patient spammer, I must say. He had been around for months and made several posts before trying this stunt. We had been watching him, but he never said anything that would lead to a banning. Odd posts but nothing spammy until today. :)
