These are such wonderful snippets of life in NYC, René. I really like how you took the one from the back seat of the cab. And my fave of the series is the diner tableau (with the subway entrance and bicycle). Your shots all look so sharp, as if they're ads from a movie or something. I hope you have more NYC shots to share.
Yeah, the rest are on my site. Thanks for the kind comments, I was worried about shooting the big apple with just a 10-20mm lens, but it worked, my Chicago pix are probably the best I have ever taken in my career, coming soon!

Nice stuff! I love the "unorthodox" but practical parking of NY's finest! (Note the fire hydrant). hahaha :naughty:

I like them all but the lighting and exposure in the first is spot on. What did you shoot them with?
I've not spoken to doxx or visited his site for ages but you may like his stuff;

Sweet pics! The shot from the back of the cab and the Tick Tock Diner are wonderful.
Nikon D300 Sigma 10-20mm
I love that lens!
Thanks Mia, I probably could have done a better shot of the diner to be honest.....

What a wonderful series! You have such a keen eye for street photos, you've outdone yourself.
Thanks, really appreciate that, but I dont think I am any good at street shots really, too shy to get up into peoples faces with a 50mm or my 10-20mm....

Great colours in those additional shots.
And I agree, it takes a lot of ...nerve to get into people's faces for street photography.
