Captured on Kodak HIE – Converted to IR with a Super Chromega D-5 action W/ Ilford Glossy Plug-in. Enhanced by Tone Mapping vigorously with Right Hand while counting elephants.
Anyway, this is the second shot from the Sandersville roll…Walking around the veranda, the image of an old Elizabethan Sailing Vessel (Stern) popped into my head. Since this ‘ship’ was going down in two weeks I tilted the camera to mimic the sinking of the ship.
I’d say that 50% of the people that come in contact with this image despise the perspective/crop so please feel free to pile on!
Thanks for looking

! ! I have loved this image since I first saw it, but this is the first time you've ever explained why you chose to tilt the camera for it, since shooting in this perspective is so unusual for you. I can't believe I never knew this tidbit!
Sadly, it looks a mite dark and flat on my puke work monitor, but I know what the print looks like. ;)

Thanks, Brad! <sigh> My very own true-life IR.
Ok... I personally love the slant and the amount you chose to capture. I think it adds to the whole feel of it... even the grain (of which... and you can confirm this with your better half... I am not fond). The whole thing says "I used to be vibrant and alive, but now... not so much." :reading:
You wait... when the film is gone and the urge remains, YOU will come to the 'light'. bwhahahaha ;)

Sure, there is! Probably from that Ilford glossy plug-in he used....
Here, I played with it some, couldn't stand it. Hopefully Rolleimaniac won't notice.

Oo! I love the slant... it makes me feel as if there is someone looking out of the windows, and I keep searching, but never see...
